| All rabbits we sell are guaranteed to be free of any signs of illness or injury at the time of sale. |
| We will guarantee the health of the rabbit against viral illness (such as “snuffles”or "wryneck") for a period of two weeks (14 days) after the date of sale. |
We do NOT guarantee
the health of the rabbit against injury or intestinal complications (such as
diarrhea, enteritis) after it is in the care of the buyer. Every effort will be made to inform and support the new owner
as to the proper care and feeding of the animal. |
We will
replace any animal which falls under the above guarantee restrictions, provided
that: |
1) |
The animal is returned to us and our examination confirms that the animal is ill; |
(or) |
2) |
The owner presents us with written confirmation from a licensed veterinarian, at owner’s expense, that the animal is ill with, or died from, a pre-existing viral infection. |
QUALITY GUARANTEE
All rabbits sold as “show” animals
will be guaranteed to be free of any characteristics which would disqualify the
animal in a show AT THE TIME OF SALE.
We cannot guarantee against disqualifying traits which could show up as
the animal ages, like fading of toenails in shaded varieties.
These are the risks we all take as exhibitors. |
| Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that any animal sold as a show specimen will indeed win most of the classes in which it is placed, or achieve “grand champion” status. Wish we could, but such things are determined not only by genetics, but by care, conditioning, and the regional preference of judges. |
We have sold many animals that have gone on to win Best of Breeds and GC status for their owners in both youth and open classes. Anna has also seen her show animals win Best of Breed in one show, and then bottom the class in the next show... judges are individuals with individual opinions and not always consistent. We do stand behind the quality of our lines, and will be honest about our own assessment of the animal’s strengths and weaknesses. |
| We encourage you to do your research, talk to many different breeders, and decide what it is that YOU like and want to see in your show rabbits, then purchase animals to help you toward that goal. |
