Shipping Information
| We will
ship rabbits, but require a minimum $200 purchase to do so.
| We
ship out of Chicago O'Hare airport.
Airline fees for shipping are running $100 - $200 for up to 4 rabbits.
(We have used Continental. Northwest also will ship rabbits.)
Our favorite to use
is Continental QuickPak Service, which will ship your bunnies
counter to counter so there is less hold time than in Cargo, does not require
health certificates (but of course we will still get them if requested), and
will ship up to 6 rabbits for $169.

You will have to pay for an airline approved carrier (about $35 for a 4-hole), health certificates for each bunny (my vet charges about $20 each), and feed and water cups for each bunny (about $3.00 ea). Due to the rising cost of fuel I am now charging a $20 trip fee to help cover gas, tolls, and airport parking. The airport is 1.5 hours from my home.
Weather plays a part in the practicality of shipping. Spring and fall are the best times and safest for the rabbits.
| Prior to shipping I need the balance (cost of rabbits + shipping fees) paid in full, preferably by money order or cashier's check, or by using the PayPal account located on our sales page. I will then call the airlines and make shipping arrangements. You need to tell me what airline and airport you want to use, and we need to agree on a date. |

REFUND or REPLACEMENT POLICY ON SHIPPED RABBITS:
I will refund your money if you have purchased a show quality animal and it is disqualified by an ARBA judge at an ARBA sanctioned show within two months of purchase (excepting DQ's for illness/injury while in your care). You will need to send me a copy of the remark card describing the DQ. (Note: DQ for overweight will not be refundable because it could be due to pregnancy, obesity, or faulty scales.)
| If
you are dissatisfied with the rabbits upon their arrival, then I will
refund your money if you ship them back to me (you are responsible for shipping fees) within the 14-day health
guarantee period. Otherwise, I can replace the animal with another if we arrange to
meet at a show (for instance, ARBA National Convention), or I can credit the
purchase amount of that animal toward another animal, at my discretion.
The difficulty of shipping/replacing rabbits makes it obvious that you need to ask as many questions and request as many photos as you need to feel confident that you are getting what you expect.

We want you to be happy with your bunnies! I will very honestly answer any and all questions, but keep in mind that my opinion of the quality of an animal may or may not be consistent with yours or a judge's opinions. Heaven knows that we often have no clue what judges are looking for, as BOB winners sometimes bottom out a class and consistent "losers" sometimes win BOB. It is also difficult at times to see just how a junior rabbit will turn out, especially when so much depends on care, feeding, and conditioning. All I can offer is my honest opinion, which isn't usually too far off the mark. I can fax copies of show remark cards, also. Do not hesitate to call me to ask questions, my number is 262-539-2762. |
